Kieran Dick Doyle

Kieran has been working in collaboration with the environmental non-profit organisation Earthwatch since the summer of 2020 to engage landowners, funders and other stakeholders in and around Glasgow. Referred to as “Wee Forests” in Scotland, the concept leverages densely planted trees within very small plots to deliver pollution-busting, biodiversity improving, public green spaces that empower community learning. Kieran presented the concept to the Glasgow Natural Heritage Society on 12 October and has been helping to deliver live planting events throughout October.
